I haven't lived in Michigan since 94', but everytime I come back to visit family, I go to Mancino's. THE best grinders in the free world, and they're cheap! If I knew I was going to die, and had only only meal left, this would be it. The Italian grinder is my favorite, but they have a great menu. Next time your in the mood for some great grub, hit up Mancino's; you'll never eat Quizno's again.

One night after a long day at work, I was looking for something hot, filling and fast so I could sit back and relax, watch some college football and drink a beer or two. I saw this place from the road, Pizza and Grinders! I haven't had an oven grinder since college. I thought I would stop in and give this place a try. Mancino's has about a dozen different varieties of grinders, I tried the Italian which had salami, ham and provolone cheese. The half was about $4.75 and the whole, which is twice as big was about $6.50. I ordered the whole. My sandwich was ready in about five minutes. The sandwich was hot and a bit greasy. It was also served with lettuce on top and what I think was olive oil and organo dressing. It also appeared to have been pressed, much like a cuban sandwich. The whole was so big I barely got into the second half before I set it aside. The sandwich was definitely hot, the bread fresh and the portions large. The only thing that turned me off a bit was the greasiness. Not a bad thing, just not for me. The dining area was spacious and a bit dark, reminiscent of the old Shakey's pizza chain. Basic formica top dining. The place is definitely worth a second stop. I consider it more conductive to take out rather than eat in but to each his own. I

Ok, I was looking forward to the new store opening, but it ended up being a disappointment. The food still tastes good, even though my order was jacked, but it's like eating in a cave. I suppose it is alright if they were going for an industrial look, but it's very impersonal, loud and echoed a lot. Just not enjoyable for me.

I was very disappointed tonight with my salad. I ordered the Taco Salad. They didn't give me any sour cream or salsa and the salad was cold and bland. I was not impressed, and will not have another salad again. Their grinders are still great, but stay away from their salads.

Had the ham and salami grinder. Was delicious however there was so much Ham on it that in the center the ham was cold. Just my preference but I'd have taken a little less ham so that it was warmed all the way through.

Very casual dining. Great place to hang with friends on a Saturday night and you want to play board games. Only wish they stayed open a little later then 10pm. If you want a GREAT cheese pizza that tastes like the east coast this is the place to come. We've tried going back to other big name chain places for pizza and always end up disappointed. The sauce just has great NY flavor. Their grinders are also good. Love the vegetarian with added pineapple and french dressing.

Sooooo good. If you're looking for afordable Italian sandwiches, go here. They specialize in "grinders" which are open face sub type things full of meat, cheese, and veggies. The best though is their garlic bread. It's made with this amazing garlic butter spread and topped with lots of cheese. Mmm. I could eat it everyday!

So you want a huge tasty sandwhich for only a few bucks? You are in luck this place has the best grinders around. The pizza is pretty bomb too.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
